If all else fails, consider uninstalling the app and then reinstalling it again. Just be aware that removing the app will erase any data stored by it.

Originally the app used the first mode. However, as of version 2.9.2 the app uses the second mode by default. This is to prevent the common occurrence of someone’s phone loudly playing music during Sacrament meeting when they thought it was muted.
If you would prefer to go back to the way things were before, you can turn off the “respect silent switch” setting in the app.

When you purchase LDS Children’s Sing-Along Lite, you are not purchasing or downloading the recorded music. These are freely available on the Church website and are licensed for “incidental, noncommercial church or home purposes”. What you are purchasing is a specialized app that functions in the same capacity as your web browser. Like a web browser, the app downloads the music on your behalf for your personal use. It saves the music on your device, allowing you to continue to enjoy the content when you do not have access to the Internet.
It is possible that a copyright owner may choose to “deny, revoke, or limit use” of their content in this app. Should that happen, know that we may regrettably be required to reduce the number of songs that can be accessed by LDS Children’s Sing-Along Lite.
